The European Commission through Decision
2010/153/EU renewed the ban on products
containing the biocide dimethylfumarate DMF
(CAS 624-49-7).
This Commission Decision shall be applicable until
15 March 2011. Products containing DMF in a
quantity greater than 0.1 mg / kg shall not be
placed or made available on the market.
Several notifications occur weekly in Europe
through the RAPEX system for products containing
DMF such as: shoes for adults and children, leather
goods, furniture, clothings and toys.
