| EUROPEAN BAN TO DIMETHYLFUMARATE |
| 2009-03-04 |
Member States approved the proposal for a decision (that will be published in short-time) that will ban the placing on the market of footwear and leather forniture containing dimethylfumarate.
The draft of the decision has been approved by Member States because consumers exposed to products containing dimethylfumarate, have experienced
serious health problems including skin itching, irritation, redness, burns and, in some cases, acute respiratory difficult.
Moreover, if already on the market, these products will have to be recalled and withdrawn without delay. For these reasons company responsible for importing
those kind of products within the European Community, shall ensure that dimethylfumarate won’t be present within their products.
ICQ group is at your disposal in order to verify the presence of dimethylfumarate in your products.
